Red Arrows coach Chisi Mbewe is preaching belief as his team prepare to take on Eswatini side Young Buffaloes in the Confederation Cup.
Arrows arrived in Eswatini on Wednesday ahead of the weekend’s match having managed to beat their opponent 2 – 1 in the first leg in Lusaka at the weekend.

However, not all is won for Arrows Young Buffaloes have an advantage of scoring an away goal which could prove vital going into the second leg.

Mbewe said in an interview that he believes in the team he has picked for the task ahead.

“We have picked a team that is capable, a team that will fight for us to finish the job here in Eswatini…It is not an easy job [but] to the fans we want to assure them that they should believe in us, we are going to do the job for them,” he said.

Arrows are playing in the Confederation Cup alongside Kabwe Warriors while ZESCO United and ZANACO are in the Champions League and will all be in action this weekend.

ZESCO lost 1 – 0 to Royal Leopards of Eswatini and will be looking to salvage themselves when they play at home or risk elimination from the competition.

For ZANACO, they go into their home tie with a 2 – 0 win from the first leg after they beat Akonangui of Equatorial Guinea while Kabwe Warriors played to a scoreless draw against CFFC of Madagascar.
