It’s exactly a year since musician David Phiri aka Daev died in a gruesome car crush.
Today, Monday September 27th social media is spreading some love in memory of Daev Zambia.
Interesting to note is the confirmation from Robert Chunga, also called Bobby East who was XYZ chief executive officer at the time Daev died, that the late iconic singer left behind a catalogue of unreleased songs which amounts to a full album.
According to Bobby, who is now under Kalandanya Music Promotions, the album belongs to Daev’s family and will only be put out when the family is ready.
“Daev’s catalogue belongs to his family (as it should)…when they are ready, we will put it out…The album does exit and it’s amazing,” Bobby was quoted saying on social media by Power FM.
