NEWLY signed Power Dynamos striker Brian Mwila has set his sight on winning the golden boot this season after joining the six time league champions from Buildcon.
Mwila was on Tuesday unveiled as a Power player after signing a two year deal that will see him at the club until 2024.
“He brings massive experience having turned out for Lime Hotspurs, Kabwe Warriors and Green Buffaloes. In 2017, he moved to South Africa PSL club Platinum Stars and later joined SCR Altach of Austria.
The towering centre forward made his senior international debut for Zambia earlier in 2017 and helped Chipolopolo to a runner-up finish in the COSAFA Cup later that year. He has scored 10 goals in 20 appearances for the national team,” Power wrote on their website confirming Mwila’s switch.
Meanwhile, the player said in an interview that he has high ambitions that he wants to achieve at Arthur Davies Stadium.
“I believe that I will add value to this team with the players that are here and with my calibre I am sure it is something that will be interesting.
“Football is the same, the way I was playing at Buildcon is the same way I will be playing here and with the players that are here I am confident that things will be okay for me.
“As a striker you always dream to be top scorer or to win an individual honour like the golden boot or top scorer of the club, with Power Dynamos it is my prayer that I score as many goals to be in the top two scorers chart in Zambia,” Mwila said.
