BUILDCON have continued to soar in the Super Division extending their stay at the top after beating Forest Rangers 2 – 1 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

There were smiles for Zesco United who beat Chambishi but misery for teams like Power Dynamos as they succumbed to their third straight loss of the season.

Buildcon 2 – 1 Forest

Buildcon were ruled out by many at the start of the season but are proving their critics wrong if their performance is anything to go by at the moment.

They recorded their third straight win with goals from Patrick Ngoma and Monday Bwalya in the 70th and 76th minute respectively while Forest got their goal from Quadri Kola in the 90th minute.

The win sees Buildcon maintain their stay at the top with nine points two better than second placed Green Buffaloes.

Buffaloes 2 – 0 Zanaco

The Bankers Zanaco opened their league campaign to a defeat after allowing Buffaloes to score two past them at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.

Robin Siame scored the opening goal for Buffaloes while of Jack Chirwa doubled lead for the Army side to compound Zanaco’s misery

Zesco 2 – 0 Chambishi

The defending champions managed to avoid an upset at home as they strolled past Chambishi with goals from Zimbabwean midfielder Tafadzwa Rusike and league debutant Edward Lungu.

Eagles 0 – 0 Dynamos

Lusaka Dynamo recorded their third straight draw of the season after playing to 0 – 0 result against Green Eagles.

Celtic 1 – 2 Indeni

Celtic are still searching for a first win of the season but will have to wait until the weekend after their 2 – 1 loss to Indeni.

Clement Mulenga and David Sakala scored for Indeni while Celtic got their goal from Albert Kangwanda.

Prison 2 – 1 Power

Pressure is mounting on Power coach Masautso Tembo as the team remains bottom of the log after their third straight loss of the season.

Godfrey Ngwenya gave Power the lead but they allowed Prison to come back into the game through Zachariah Chilongoshi before Conlyde Luchanga sealed the win for Prison.

Elsewhere, Nkwazi beat Konkola Blades 1 – 0 while Kabwe Warriors lost to Kansanshi Dynamos by the same scoreline.
