Zambia’s largest steel manufacturing company Good Time Steal’s, Deputy General Manager Durban Kambaki has urged Zambians to support and buy local steel because this will help to create jobs for local people and also contribute to improved public infrastructure, and invest in the community both socially and economically.
“Goodtime steal company which was established in 2005 and comprised just 70-100 people in it’s workforce at that time has grown to 1,200 workforce and plans to employee 2000-3000 by the year 2025,” Kambaki said.
Kambaki explains that in 2008 their market were only in Zambia and Zimbabwe but buy 2010 to 2011 the company started exporting into the Rwanda and Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo.
He said good time steel has participated in building Levy Mwanawasa stadium as well as Levy Mwanawasa General Hospital.
“We really appreciate government for their continuous engagement in construction and we hope this relationship continues” He said.
He added that Good Time Steel strives to achieve enhanced customer satisfaction by delivering quality product through timely completion with safe working environment.
He said the company dedicate itself for continual improvement in all fields of the business.
