KANSANSHI Dynamos have established themselves as giant killers in the league this season having beaten some of the fancied side.

Today, they are in the capital hoping to perform another giant killing act when they take on league leaders Green Buffaloes at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.

Buffaloes are the best performing team in the league at the moment leading the pack with 20 points, five better than second placed Nkwazi.

Kansanshi have enjoyed wins over Red Arrows, Kabwe Warriors and Nkana so far this season and they are aiming for a big kill today.

Buffaloes coach Justin Chinama anticipates a tough game against the Solwezi based side.

“They are a good side. I have seen them play on a number of occasions, so I am very sure that it will be a tough game. But we have prepared well and we are looking forward to the match,” Chinama said.

Blades v Zesco

The Champions have made a short trip to Chililabombwe to face Konkola Blades where they are aiming to move from their current position to second on the table.

Zesco are third with 13 points, a win over Blades moves them to 16 points, four behind Buffaloes should the army side lose to Kansanshi.

Blades are just 3 points behind Zesco thus they will feel they have what it takes to upset the odds.

Zesco have already dropped points against less fancied sides like Kafue Celtic hence Blades will go into the match believing they can stun the Champions.

Celtic v Nkana

Zambia’s most decorated league campaigners Nkana are in Lusaka to face exciting side Kafue Celtic.

Coming from a 1-0 loss to Kansanshi Dynamos at the weekend, Nkana know that their ever demanding fans will want a response in this game.

Celtic have three wins, two losses and three draws this season, a haul that has seen them fifth on the log with 12 points, better than 10th placed Nkana.

Dynamos v Nkwazi

Nkwazi are souring in unfamiliar air where they sit second on the log with 15 points just five behind leaders Zesco United.

Today, they have a challenge against draw specialist Lusaka Dynamos at Woodlands Stadium.

Their coach Dennis Makinka has set a sight at reaching 65 points this season and so far, things seem to be going to plan.

Dynamos have not been at their optimum best this season making Nkwazi favorites going into this game.
