ZAMBIA will on Tuesday evening been hoping to produce one of the biggest shockers in African Football when they take on Tunisia in a World Cup Qualifier.

Zambia are on the verge of knowing the fate as regards qualification to the next round of the World Cup Qualifiers when the final group games are played today.

The team is placed third in the group with seven points, three behind Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea who jointly lead Group B. Mauritania are bottom with one point.

Zambia still have a chance to make it to the final round of qualifiers but that will take a great miracle for the team to progress to the knockout phase.

Chipolopolo need to beat Tunisia by a minimum of a 3 – 0 score-line and by some miracle hope that Mauritania beat Equatorial Guinea in Malabo.

If that were to happen, it would be the first time Tunisia will be losing at home in over 30 matches in all competitions. That will take some great deal of commitment from Zambia to pull out that upset.

Coach Beston Chambeshi has already promised attacking football in Tunis thus it is expected that he will place the same team that beat Mauritania in Lusaka on Saturday.

Keeper Toaster Nsabata is expected to maintain his starting place in goal ahead of Mwenya Chibwe while the back four may see Dominic Chanda and Thandi Mwape returning in central defense and Prosper Chiluya in left-back while Benedict Chepeshi may start ahead of unfit Simon Silwimba.

In midfield, Emmanuel Banda will be handed the defensive midfield duties while Rally Bwalya will be in charge of the creativity with Evans Kangwa and Lubambo Musonda supporting the attacking pair of Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka.

The team will be looking for a positive end to the qualifiers that have been generally underwhelming if you take away the two victories against Mauritania.

Kick-off has been set for 21;00hrs.
