GREEN Buffaloes coach Justin Chinama is unfazed by his team’s recent run of three matches without a win after they played to a 2 – all draw against Nkana on Sunday.
Buffaloes are the only unbeaten side in the league so far but never have they gone three matches without a win this season causing concern that their bubble may be burst soon.
Buffaloes needed to penalties to earn a point against Nkana whi has given up their lead on two occasions.
However, Chinama said he is not worried.
“We played well’, coming from behind twice meaning we are on the good course we are focused, despite conceding goals we never lost focus…that is how a team that is aspiring to be on top should be.
“We did not lose the shape of the team despite going down twice,” he said.
He said his team just need to re-organise and they will make the most of the international break.
“We just need to re-organise in midfield otherwise in defence and up front we are okay, just the midfield so that as we come after this short break we come back strong,” Chinama said.
Buffaloes still lead the pack with 22 points, three better than second placed Nkwazi.
Their last victory in the league came on October 10 when they beat Indeni 5-0. Since then, they have gone on to record three straight draws.
In other matches played on Sunday, Indeni lost 1 – 0 to Prison Leopards while Chambishi and Forest Rangers played to a 1 – all draw. The same result was recorded between Power Dynamos and Red Arrows in Lusaka.
Zanaco failed to beat ten men Lusaka Dynamos with the match ending in a scoreless draw while Kabwe Warriors beat Buildcon 2 – 0.
