POWER Dynamos coach Mwenya Chipepo has said his team will take every match as a cup final as they aim to work their way up the table.
Power got their first win of the season on Sunday when they beat Lusaka Dynamos 1 – 0 at Arthur Davies Stadium a result which was not enough to see them leave the relegation zone.
It was Chipepo’s first game in charge since being appointed Power coach to replace Masautso Tembo.
Chipepo said in an interview that there is still a lot of work to do for his team.
“The team is not complete we are still working on them we need more players to come and help us. For now we will be taking every game as a cup final we need to collect points before the window as you can see we are struggling with the striking force.
“We are going to make sure that we bring the old glory of Power 90,” Chipepo said.
Power are 16th on the log with five points.
