THE Zambia Ending AIDS 2021 Virtual Run successfully kicked off today Tuesday, 19th October, 2021 in Kabwe.
People from different walks of life turned up for the health campaign and fitness exercise that was held at Choppies in Kabwe.
Attendees to this inaugural event took part in a health run and an aerobics session. They were also given information on various health issues. Others took time to access support on COVID-19 vaccination, HIV testing and prevention, and other related support.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 20th, the event moves to Luanshya. Other towns to experience this include Kitwe, Solwezi, Mufulira, Ndola and Kasama.
The run is free with participants registering online.
Once registered through the ZEA online link, participants will be required to share data of their run, route taken and a picture taken at a health centre within their location.
The campaign will later end with a special virtual festival called ‘Take Control Virtual Fest’ on Saturday 30th October. Everyone can participate. To register follow the link below:
