Some Zanaco fans have called for the dismissal of coach Kelvin Kaindu following their scoreless draw against Prison Leopards at Sunset Stadium.
The team played their fourth straight match without a win, putting more pressure on Kaindu and his technical bench.
Zanaco thought they had a winner in the 86th minute when Martin Daka’s ball was ruled as a goal only for referee Audrick Nkole to rescind his decision.
At full time, the fans shouted “coach ayende” as Kaindu walked to the dressing room after the game.
In Ndola, Indeni came from behind to draw 1-all against Nkana at Trade Fair Grounds.
Striker Alex Ng’onga scored for Nkana in the 31st minute to put the visitors in the lead and road to recovery after losing to Chambishi in mid-week.
Ten minutes from time, Lawrence Mwenga earned a point for Indeni after scoring for the home side.
Indeni sit sixth with eight points one better than Nkana who are in seventh.
Meanwhile, Warriors picked their first win of the season after beating Konkola Blades 2 – 1 at Railway Grounds in Kabwe.
Twiza Chaibela gave Warriors the win in the 34th minute but Saviour Konkola canceled the lead in the 42nd minute to draw level going into the break.
Seven minutes after the hour mark, Jimmy Ndhlovu scored from a penalty to give Warriors their first win of the season.
And Warriors now have three points while Blades dropped to fifth with eight points.
Nkwazi moved into second in the log after playing to a 1-all draw against Forest Rangers at Sunset Stadium.
Jonathan Munalula gave Forest the lead in the 50th minute but Pride Mwansa scored 10 minutes from Time for Nkwazi to share the spoils.
In Kitwe Power Dynamos drew scoreless against Kafue Celtic while leaders Green Buffaloes beat Chambishi 2-0.
