Kapesika Group of Companies, a proudly Zambian owned oil marketing and logistics company has commended gospel artiste Ephraim Mutalange also known as “The Son of Africa” for clocking 20 years in music ministry which he celebrated on New Year’s Eve.
To appreciate Ephraim’s effort in music ministry, the company co-sponsored the Red Carpet Ephraim Crossover Tribute Concert held at Government Complex in Lusaka on December 31st.
This came as a result of the company’s social responsibility as it believes in not only offering the best services in the country but also helping local talent, such as music acts.
Kapesika says it has been on record of giving back to the society by undertaking philanthropic activities among them donating 5000 blankets to the Zambia Correctional Service early last year. Other donations have been made to hospitals and to the women in various communities.
The company intends to undertake more of such sponsorship this year.
And speaking after the event, Ephraim thanked Kapesika for not hesitating to attend to his call for support before and during the event which he considered a huge success. He further thanked other sponsors who also came on board.
The Red Carpet Ephraim Crossover Tribute Concert attracted various Zambian Gospel artistes as well as prominent figures among them Mr. Kelvin Bwalya Fube KBF, Mr. Hyvie Hamududu and other distinguished guests. The event was ably hosted by renowned radio personality DJ Showstar.
