Zambian youth and political activist Maiko Zulu has called upon all civic leaders to publicly declare their assets saying lifestyle audits are necessary for elected and nominated office bearers.
Zulu who is a renowned and seasoned musician stated this on his Facebook Page to advocate for lifestyle audits among public officers.
“Lifestyle audits are necessary for elected and nominated office bearers and we hope this will be standard procedure going forward as this will enhance transparency and accountability which have been a rare phenomenal in past governments under the multi-party system government,” he stated.
