President Hakainde Hichilema has told Cabinet Ministers that administrative changes will be effected if ineffectiveness and inefficiencies become apparent among them.
And the Head of State has stated that Cabinet Ministers must avoid sleeping during serious national matters adding that Zambians are watching and will judge such a Cabinet based on its conduct of serious national issues.
The President also called on the Cabinet Ministers to work in harmony with civil servants so that the vision of a better Zambia for all is actualised.
Speaking during the induction ceremony held for Cabinet Ministers at Mulungushi Conference Center in Lusaka today, the President stressed the importance of taking National duty serious including creating jobs, business opportunities, education and quality health care services among others for all Zambians.
President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has warned that he will NOT hesitate to make necessary administrative changes to ensure the UPND administration remains on course and achieve its objectives.
The President says government has to deliver on time before the five year mandate lapses.
President Hichilema directed the Ministers to ensure policies are coherent with the overall Government policy.
He stated that the confidence the electorate have in the new dawn administration must be met with hard work, determination and commitment to service.
