ZESCO United coach Mumamba Numba was left a disappointed man after his team played to a 1-0 loss to Nkana at Nkana Stadium in KItwe.

Nkana welcomed their fans back to the stadium in style with a 1-0 win over the defending Champions thanks to a Jacob Ngulube goal.

Ngulube struck in the 19th minute to help Nkana move into fifth position on the log with 10 points.

The result has disappointed coach Numba.

“It is a disappointing result we did not expect to lose like we have today. The problem is that we wasted a lot of chances,” Numba said.

Zesco were wasteful in most instances of the match leading them to give away the game to Nkana.

Kafue Celtic beat Kansanshi Dynamos 1-0 at Sunset Stadium to move into the top four with 11 points.

Buildcon and Nkwazi played to a scoreless draw while the same result was recorded on the the match between Konkola Blades and Chambeshi in Chililabombwe.

Green Eagles gave up a one goal lead to lose 2-1 to Kabwe Warriors at Independence Stadium in Choma.
