The Patriotic Front (PF) has dispelled the social media story indicating that PF Secretary General, Mr Davies Mwila has been arrested.
A story has been making rounds on social media that the PF secretary general was this morning picked up from the secretariat by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC)
But PF Member of the Central Committee Antonio Mwanza says the story circulating on social media that the Patriotic Front, Secretary General has been arrested by the DEC is fake.
“Hon. Davies Mwila has not been arrested. He is a free man and is currently freely working at the Party Secretariat” Mr. Mwanza said in a statement made available to New Zambia, and has since urged party members and the general public to dismiss the rumour with the contempt it deserves.
