United Party for National Development (UPND) Alliance Media Director Thabo Kawana has castigated the opposition patriotic front for there continued propaganda campaigns against the new Dawn Administration. Mr. Kawana has urged the opposition( PF) to desist from issuing baseless statements targeting the President and dividing the country on tribal lines.
“I would like to urge Mr. Given Lubinda, a former law maker for kabwata constituency to behave as a leader in society.”
“Mr.Lubinda, was relegated to a position of campaign manager for Professor N’agndu Luo after they did not adopt him to re-contest kabwata constituency, he was abandoned, and was nowhere near the PF presidency or vice presidency, one wonders why he feels he’s relevant now that they’ve lost the election”. Wondered Kawana.
In an apparent reference to Lubinda’s continued utterances towards the President and continued campaigns on tribal lines Mr. Kawana says the opposition cannot continue to issue rhetoric and demeaning statements towards the government that has only been in office for less than 60 days.
“Mr. Lubinda is not trusted and cannot be adopted in his own party, his a known traitor who was fired by the late founding president of the PF Mr. Michael Sata”.
Mr. Kawana charged that the opposition (PF) are calling on a government that has been in office for less than 60 days to implement policies that they failed to undertake in 10 years. That’s ridiculous Mr. Kawana protested.
“We would also like to urge the independent law maker Honorable. Munir Zulu, who is a well known PF surrogate to desist from finger pointing without evidence, you cannot continue on a defamation path without proper trail of evidence stop it.”
“You are targeting credible ministers whose ministry was your soup.” The structures on the Alick Nkhata road was found to be of standard Mr. Kawana argued that it is ridiculous for such defamatory statements to be raised.
Mr. Kawana says the uncoordinated outbursts from the opposition are not worth debating, stressing that clearly the Patriotic Front (PF) and it’s surrogates independent MP’s masquerading as neutral opposition cannot be trusted.
Mr. Kawana has also urged the Asian business community not to worry about corrupt individuals who are intimidating them and asking for bribes on the basis that the government will deport them or close down their businesses .
“We’re aware of people who are taking bribes from unsuspecting businesses the law enforcement agencies is on your trail stop committing crimes, the government is not on a vengeance path, we’re all free, lets all enjoy the new Dawn Administration.” Stated Kawana.
