President Hakainde Hichilema is next week expected to attend the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States of America from 20th to 25th September 2021.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly, the President is expected to hold a series of high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings with other world leaders to discuss matters of beneficial development interest to the people of Zambia.

According to a statement issued by the special assistant to the president and spokesperson, Anthony Bwalya, details of the President’s scheduled travel to the USA will subsequently be communicated to the public through official channels at the ministry of foreign affairs.
