All is set for the Eden University sponsored public lecture slated for this Saturday at Lusaka’s Mulungushi International Conference Center.
Addressing the media in Lusaka, Eden University public relations manager Emmah Banda said guest speaker, Professor Patrick Lumumba PLO is expected in the country on Saturday.
Ms. Banda said owing to the smooth handover of power after the August 12 polls, the university saw it necessary to invite an African icon in Professor Lumumba.
She said the smooth handover of power is rare in Africa and Zambia showed an exemplary example.
” This discussion was necessary for Zambia’s mature democracy and we saw it fit to invite professor Lumumba. Smooth handle over of power is rare in Africa,” Ms. Banda said.
” We are making history by hosting the African icon Professor Lumumba. The elections created a positive narrative for the country and
Professor Lumumba arrives in the country on Saturday. We have received tremendous response from members of the public and the tickets are K500 ordinary, K1000 VIP and K1500 VVIP ” she said.
And Ms. Banda said Eden University is glad to supplement government efforts in providing services to citizens in the country.
