A 35 year old man of Kalomboshi area in Mushindamo district has committed suicide after his brother in marriage confessed to have had carnal knowledge with his wife.
According to North western province deputy commissioner of police Dr. Fred Mulenga, the incident happened on Tuesday around 9 hours and was reported by the elder to brother to the deceased.
Dr. Mulenga disclosed that Clement Kayla (the brother in marriage) confessed to the deceased who he identified as Thomas Kaumba he had carnal knowledge with his wife Miniva Chitelela.
He said police visited the scene and found the body hanging on the tree with the rope around the neck.
“The body was inspected and no foul play has been suspected,” he said.
He said relatives to the deceased have since been advised to bury the remains.
