Top Zambian artistes working with various corporating partners have come together to release an album dubbed ‘ Ukani Manje’.
Ukani Manje, a Nyanja phrase which means ‘wake up now’ is a combined album meant to spread positive messages about HIV/AIDS prevention and protection. Released yesterday as part of the Commemoration of World AIDS Day today, the album involving selected artistes namely Chef 187, Chileshe Bwalya, Esther Chungu, Wezi, Magg44, Ephraim, Abel Chungu, Gods General and Daxon Ma Africa was produced by Mixtizo.
This year’s World AIDS Day theme is ‘End Inequalities, End AIDS, End Pandemics’.
