Headphone Music rapper Umusepela Chile has proved that real Hip-Hop music is still alive in an era where genres like AfroBeats and AmaPiano have taken center stage on the local music scene.

In a follow up to his previous single ‘Working Class’, the Headphone Music signee shows serious intent to stamp authority on the industry with the release of his new single entitled ‘Black Jesus’.

Chile is ready to receive the baton from legends and veterans’ alike if the content on this creative masterpiece is anything to go by.

Assisted by label executive Jay Rox on this new offering, ‘Black Jesus’, the song is a back-and-forth where the two artistes cleverly trade lines with the type of delivery reminiscent of legendary defunct Rap duo Black Munthu.

In this concept driven song, Chile and Rox have an honest conversation discussing decision making at the peak of a young artiste’s career among other interesting topics.

In the process, Rox, who makes a guest appearance on the record has a flashback of when he was on the come-up during his Zone Fam days, while advising Chile on how to make wise decisions at the peak of his career.

The two artistes also debate who is more valuable in the industry between the veterans and the new wave in this double single and video release in a method of unleashing material that has become tradition for Headphone Music.

The single is available on all streaming platforms while the music video is available on YouTube.
