FIAN International Zambia board Chairperson Angela Mulenga has announced that they are working towards having huge impact in the realization of the realization of right to food.
Speaking in an interview, Ms. Mulenga said FIAN International Zambia has partnered with government, human rights commission to deal with the right to food violation.
She noted that just last month FIAN International Zambia presented two documents to the commission highlighting the violation of the right to food in Mumbwa, Ndola and Mpika.
“We have submitted cases to the Human rights commission on the violation of the right to food,” She disclosed.
She said the cases are progressing well and FIAN International Zambia is waiting for feedback adding that she is hoping that the affected communities will be heard on time.
“I feel like the cases have taken too long for the affected people in Mumbwa, Ndola and Mpika,” She noted.
