The Body of the Vice president Dr. Saulosi Klaus Chilima to be laid to rest Monday in msipe Ntcheu District.
The body of departed Vice president who died Monday in a plane crash in Chikangawa forest is set to be taken from the motuary Friday to Area 18 st Patrick’s parish in Lilongwe for the mass.
Minster of information and digitalization Moses Kunkuyu while addresing the media in Lilongwe, said , the body will be laying in state at the official vice president’s house in area 12 up to Saturday.
Sunday the body will be taken to civil stadium for the public funeral ceremony before taken to Ntcheu.
On Monday the final funeral ceremony and the burial will take place at Chilima’s home village.
The minister has also said the post-mortem examination to discover the cause of death will be conducted on all bodies accept to that of Abdul Lapukeni who has been already raid to rest today in mangochi district.
“investigation into what caused the plane will also be carried by the Malawi Defense Force and other relevant authorities and those interested.”
added the Minister.
