Media personality, business lady and socialite Mutale Mwanza sometimes called Double M says she will this Saturday take part in the Sphiwe Benasho planned Pink Ribbon Walk.
According to her statement on social media, Mutale Mwanza promised to walk with all participants from Northmead to East Park Mall to help boost the cancer awareness.
Mutale has further pledged to pay K300 participation fee for 10 of her followers on Facebook to help with the campaign. This amount includes a T-shirt, cap and a medal.
Zambian cancer activist, model and philanthropist Sphiwe Benasho who is the organiser of the walk has thanked Mutale for the gesture and encouraged more people like her to support the walk.
The walk which enters its fourth year, is targeted at creating cancer awareness.
It emphasises on the need to learn more about cancers, early detection, prevention and patient care.
The walk is 5 kilometers and kicks off from Northmead (Bonjour Car Park) at 7:00 hours.
Tentatively, the Guest of Honor is Minister of Health Syvia Masebo while opposition leader
Highvie Hamududu will make a guest appearance.
