“Gospel music is full of life and must be spread all over the world,” said Ugandan gospel artiste Levixone who was in Zambia last week alongside Malawi’s renowned gospel singer Wendy Harawa.

The two visited the country for collaborate on projects with local musicians especially gospel artistes.

Levixone and Wendy are on a mission to foster gospel music collaborations with artistes from various countries across the African continent and were both happy to bring their project to Zambia.

Wendy Harawa has been to Zambia on several occasions but on this mission, she came to introduce her joint project with Levixone. The two are both African award winners.

“We have been working together for some time now and we have a song called ‘Zikomo’ which is well-known in most countries. We are here in Zambia to promote this project and to work with various artistes in Zambia,” said Wendy Harawa.

“So far we have been working with Zambia to see how to promote gospel music and I am pleased to say that we have worked with Pompi, Abel, Kings Mumbi, Mag44 and many others.”
