ZESCO United strolled into second on the log following a 4-0 win over Kansanshi Dynamos on Wednesday.
Goals from Thabani Kamusoko, Jesse Were, Solomon Sakala and Dickson Chapa were all Zesco needed to return to winning ways after losing to Nkana at the Weekend.
Kamusoko opened the scoring in the 25th minute to ensure that the defending champions head into the interval leading 1-0.
Kenyan striker Jesse Were doubled the lead in the 57th minute to give Kansanshi coach Tenant Chilumba a bad return to Ndola.
Defender Solomon Sakala then added a third in the 83rd minute before Midfielder Dickson Chapa’s final goal in added time.
This win is Zesco’s fourth of the season and a good comeback after they tumbler to Nkana.
