The Patriotic Front has revoked the appointment of former Mushindamo District Commissioner Benson Ngambo as acting North Western Province Vice Chairman.
According to a revocation letter dated 9 November addressed to Mr. Ngambo and signed by the former ruling party’s secretary general Davis Mwila, the move is with immediate effect.
“Following your appointment as acting Provincial Vice Chairman for North Western Province, I wish to revoke your appointment with immediate effect,” reads the letter.
The letter has cited Mr. Ngambo’s recent media statement as the reason for the revocation of his appointment as it did not have blessings from the party.
Recently, Mr. Ngambo was quoted in one of the daily tabloids denouncing the PF’s top party leadership.
He has since been asked to hand over all party materials to the Secretariat without fail.
The party has however appointed its Mufumbwe loosing parliamentary candidate in the August 12 general elections Davis Mbalau as acting Vice Chairman.
Mr. Mbalau has been tasked to immediately start rebranding, restructuring and rebuilding the party to ensure that the structures are intact to withstand the challenges ahead.
