“The sentiment ‘Life Begins at 40′ is just a saying and psychologically, helps the 40s and above to reset their lives when they get to 40, however, nothing changes Life remains the same,” says former Zambian Deejay Elvis Singoma fondly called DJ Elvis The IG.
Singoma, now an entrepreneur on Friday 24th September, 2021 celebrated his 40th birthday by hosting a colourful bash that was attended by renowned local celebrities and entertainers.
Attended by over 80 people, the party was held at Twalumba Lodge in Lusaka’s Chalala area. It was Elvis’ way of thanking God for hitting the big 40.
” Turning 40 is not an easy thing Especially in this era of peer pressure. It is possible but also challenging. I am happy that I have always been asking God to intervene every time I face challenges,” he said.
“Ultimately, God is the winner and I am 40 today because God has permitted it.”
His bash was graced by artistes, B1, Pentagon, Espe, Wapzee and Ngoma Zasu Band.
Renowned DJs, Bizzy Wizzy and 3illmatic made a special appearance while DJs Furious, Deejay MsKD, Deejay Vusi and a resident Deejay of Twalumba Lodge rocked the show.
Other celebrity attendees were from Mpali namely Hambe, Jairos, Frank, Mwanida, Chola, Cliff, Moses, Phil and Waps
Singoma is a former Deejay who has worked for famous clubs like Klub Vegas, Alpha Bar among other Clubs with over 14 years of experience.
In 2017 he quit Deejaying and ventured into entrepreneurship.
He is now called Mr. Bitcoin by his business partners because of the love he has for a particular Cryptocurrency called Bitcoin and he is also a Bitcoin Trader.
