SUPER League side Kabwe Warriors have appointed former Zanaco coach Chris Kaunda as head coach after firing Ian Bakala.
On Monday, the club announced the Bakala has left the club after reaching a mutual agreement.
“Kabwe Warriors FC have today appointed Chris Kaunda as New Head Coach with immediate effect.
“Kaunda takes over from Ian Bakala who has since left the club. The club has further appointed Josphat Nkhoma as Assistant Coach.
“Today the Executive has decided to make some changes to the Technical Bench. We have brought in Chris Kaunda and Josphat Nkhoma.
“Chris comes with huge experience, he did very well at Zanaco and I think he comes with the experience that the club needs,” Club chairman Hayden Dingwall stated.
