NKANA coach Beston Chambeshi has praised his team following a 2 – 0 win over Forest Rangers on Saturday to move to sixth on the log with 19 points.

Allan Chibwe’s errors gifted Nkana two goals to end their five match winless run against Forest Rangers.

Nkana got their opening goal through Patrick Gondwe in the 76th minute shooting from outside the box to send the home fans into a frenzy.

Five minute later, Derrick Mukombozi put the game to bed with a slot shot from a Jacob Ngulube pass.

“It is an important game for us, it has been tough the past four games I am happy with result. This is good the boys are having confidence and I am happy that we managed to win,” Chambeshi said.

In other results of the weekend Green Buffaloes played to a 3 – all draw against Prison Leopards while Nkwazi lost 1 – 0 to Chambeshi at Chambishi Stadium.

Indeni lost 3 – 0 to Lusaka Dynamos while Kansanshi Dynamos and Buildcon played to a scoreless draw with Green Eagles beat Konkola Blades 2 – 1 in Chililabombwe.
