Center for Environment Justice (CEJ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNICAF University to enhance research among youths on environmental protection.
CEJ Board Chairperson Vincent Ziba has since paid tribute to the New Dawn Government for their aspirations towards environmental protection.
Mr. Ziba states that youths are a center of development that require accurate information on environmental protection issues adding that their input is needed.
Speaking earlier, UNICAF University Vice Chancellor Dr. Christine Mushibwe says her institution of higher learning follows keenly President Hakainde Hichilema’s pronouncements on environmental protection.
Dr. Mushibwe disclosed that UNICAF University has since embarked on building a green campus which will not emit any hazards to the environment in response to climate change.
She says programmes at UNICAF University have been tailored to suit the current trends at global level such as the response to climate change.
She is happy that the MoU will help the two institutions to carry out research and awareness jointly.
