GREEN Buffaloes’ unbeaten run continued on Saturday after playing to a 1-all draw against Zesco United at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The draw has the army side maintain the seven point gap between them and Zesco who are in second with 13 points.
Zesco were reduced to 10 men in the 39th minute after referee Derrick Kafuli gave marching orders to Midfielder Dickson Chapa after a rough challenge.
In the 54th minute, Buffaloes managed to find the back of the net and lead the match through Martin Ndhlovu.
However, Zesco managed to pull one back when they converted a penalty in the 90th minute through Kelvin Mubanga.
In Solwezi, Nkana suffered a set back when they lost 1-0 to Kansanshi Dynamos with the lone goal of the game coming from Justin Kan’gombe.
Beston Chambeshi failed to mastermind a win over his former side with the record title holders failing to score past the Kansanshi backline.
In Chambishi, Green Eagles managed to win their first match in the last five games after they beat Chambishi 1-0.
Hosea Silwimba opened the scoring in the sixth minute to hand Aggrey Chiyangi’s men the first win since September 19.
Kabwe Warriors managed a 2-0 win over Prison Leopards with striker Jimmy Ndhlovu scoring a brace.
Ndhlovu scored in the opener in the 25th minute before completing his brace five minutes before time.
