Following the heavy backlash from the political campaigns as well as loss of key members of his music label, XYZ Entertainments, rapper Slapdee has announced he is working on new music for his fans.

According to a Facebook post on his official page, Slapdee, real name Mwila Musonda, says he is set to offload brand new music and has hinted that he is excited of this yet-to-be released music.

“It’s about to rain music!” Slapdee stated.

He further asked whether he should start with an EP or back to back singles.

Most of his fans who commented on his post requested that he gives them an EP and probably more singles.

Others expressed excitement at the announcement and believe that he will deliver like he normally does. Very few took him back to reminding him on how he seemed to have betrayed his fans by doing political or campaign songs.

All in all, many are wishing him well and are eagerly waiting for the new project.

Slapdee is currently signed under Kalandanya Music Promotions which has faced lots of criticism after the August 12 elections for engaging musicians in singing campaign songs for the former ruling party, Patriotic Front.
